Spring Is On Its Way...

The daffodils and tulips are more visible each day as temperatures are warming and the sun beams down to coax them out of their winter's sleep. Today, rain is gently falling providing a refreshing drink of water. Here's a photo from last year's gardens... I'm looking forward to the rainbow of colors that will beautify our walking paths again this Spring! Linda

A Beautiful, Unexpected Moment

I could not believe my eyes this morning when I saw the dusting of snow covering the back deck and driveway. And now, several hours later, it's still coming down and looks much like our "winter storm" back in December. So enchanting and beautiful to see when totally unexpected! It will be gone by mid-afternoon as the temperatures warm up, but what a sight to behold right now in the moment... I have trouble living in the moment sometimes as I so often want to look forward to what's coming next rather than enjoy the here and now. So, I'm off to make a hot cup of tea, sit beside the fire, and enjoy the wonder of this unexpected moment in time. I hope you will do the same! Linda

Some Recent Guest Comments

We truly enjoy and appreciate reading the comments and suggestions that many of our guests leave for us in the bedside journals we provide. As a result of one guest suggestion, we now have full length mirrors in each room!

Last month the owners of the Savannah Inn in Lewes, Delaware, stayed with us and wrote the following:
"Your Inn is so beautiful. It was the perfect setting for us to enjoy the Valley. As B&B owners, we really appreciated your hospitality, attention to detail and delicious breakfasts! It was so nice to chat with you and we wish you much continued success. Thank you for such a relaxing and memorable honeymoon in the Willamette Valley."

Guests from Chicago shared these comments:
"We loved staying at your place. Everything was so well put together for a much needed, relaxing visit."

We look forward to hearing from many new guests and friends in the coming year! Linda
