Linda makes the most incredible breakfasts. Pictured is her fancy dutch baby pancake with carmelized pears she made for guests this weekend. It is always fun to see them light up when she appears out of the kitchen with this dish in hand. And always supplied with a sweeter meal is a hardy protein as well. Her berry parfait is also a guest favorite, and she prepares it often. This is the reason Linda's the innkeeper and I am not--she can cook, and is wonderful at it! Kristen

Squirrels, Gophers, and Voles... oh my!

Our tulip beds have been invaded! The many critters living on (and under) our property have filled their tummies this Spring... with our tulip bulbs!! Thankfully, they don't care for the daffodils and we had a cheerful crop of several varieties out on our field, smiling up at Mt. Hood in the distance. Linda
