Terra Vina Tasting Room--Close to the Inn!

Terra Vina Vineyard is opening their new tasting room on Labor Day weekend, and is located just one mile from the Inn! Dan & Kristen were able to enjoy one lazy Sunday afternoon a few weeks back tasting their incredible wines. While enjoying the views and tasting room, we had a wonderful conversation with the owners, Karl & Carole Dinger, learning all about their special wines and vineyards. We are excited to have them nearby to send our guests. They will be open from 2-7 pm Fridays, and 12-5 pm on Saturdays thru harvest. Karl & Carole are gracious hosts and will treat you well. Tell them The DreamGiver's Inn sent you!

Lazy Days of August

Can you believe it! The end of August (and summer!) is fast approaching and we're gearing up for the Fall Harvest. September is only a week away and the area vineyards will begin harvesting their grapes in the next few weeks. The trees and grapevines will soon begin to change colors and we will enjoy the show from our front porch rocking chairs.

I often tell my guests that I have a "circuit" where I rotate from one end of the porch sitting in each rocker to the opposite end, then to the lawn where I spend a few minutes soaking in the sun and the view from our adirondack chairs overlooking the neighbor's vineyard. I then continue the circuit to the back lawn where I contemplate the view of Mt. Hood in the distance. I move again...this time to the chairs located at various spots on our 9 acre field and finally to the back deck where I end my circuit with a quick rest on the outdoor sofa. What a life!! Linda

Wow...We Love our Guests & Their Reviews!

Returning guests of The DreamGiver's Inn just gave us a wonderful review. Here's their kind words below as they just posted it on Trip Advisor...

"This was our third trip to the area and our third stay at Dreamgiver's Inn. Our first stay several years ago was just perfect. Even so, while in the Newberg, OR area, we looked around for a different place to stay on our future trips to the area - just to try something different. I can tell you, you will NOT find a better place to stay than Dreamgiver's Inn! It is the perfect place to relax. Linda and her business partner, Kristen, have created the perfect retreat. The Inn is well-appointed and the decor is welcoming and comfortable. The rooms all have comfortable beds with luxurious bedding and each room has a window seat that overlooks the property and valley. Our favorite room is Courage, but all are nice. There are many spaces outside the Inn where you can sit and relax. The rockers on the front of the inn look over the valley. Linda's breakfasts are delicious and generous. You will not start your day hungry!

I notice that there is another B and B rated higher than Dreamgiver's Inn, but I can tell you that it cannot compare to Dreamgiver's Inn in decor, service and value. Take the time to go on each B and B's website and compare. You will be glad you did.
Enjoy your stay. I know we did!!

New Spaces

Linda and I came across these wine barrel tables by chance, and thought we had to have them at the Inn. We placed a wine country map under the glass for guests to plan their wine tasting day or to marvel at all the wineries in Yamhill Valley! We like to have more sitting spaces for out guests to "be" and relax--especially outdoors while taking in the beautiful Northwest views. Kristen
